Back in the late 70s who remember the boys and girls clubs in the city, we lived in Vancouver in a low income building, the concrete jungle, nothing to do, no place to just hang out, then a group of people got together and opened the hall in Mount Pleasant area, it was an old school house that was converted to a hall, there was a games room, a gymnasium with basketball court, floor hockey and Indoor soccer, anyway all sorts of games could be played there, it was All Hallow eve and we were told to go home a dress up in are halloween costume, so those who wanted to did, I was one that did, I dressed up as a hobo, I had seen Red skelton show years before( reruns ) and like him dressed up as Hobo,
