I'm in my house alone and my lights were off, I climbed into bed and went to sleep
snuggling under my covers wearing my long nightie and tights on this cold winter night .
Not knowing that hiding in my closet was a black rapist getting ready for me .

I heard my closet door open as I stirred . In that
split second I realized there was someone on my bed , a hand clamped over my mouth , jolting me
out of a light sleep . My eyes shot open in panic . I couldn't see my attacker but I could feel him ,
a large black male looming over me in the faint darkness that the only light showing was from my
night light.
